Family RecipesOur family has always had more than its share of good cooks. My memories of people seem to often involve food, food made by them or shared with them. The recipes in this booklet are pretty much as I received them. If there are mistakes, just make your own adjustments for next time and pencil them in. A lot of them come from another era, and tend to be heavy on fat and sugar. You could try adjustments for your diet and taste, or you could just eat a little of them. They have not been tested in a test kitchen, but have been popular with one branch of the family or other at one time. Hope you enjoy them as much as they did. In the Recipe Ancestors chart I have attempted to explain some of the relationships as I understand them. I have also given maiden names in the recipe section where space permits.
